In my forgiveness quilt I made the brown and white people shaking hands
to show that the brown person forgives the white person of what his
ancestors did to his ancestors. I
put in the globe because for me all around the world forgiveness happens and
is seen every day. Also I used
the colors:

Orange-
because it is a warm color
·
Yellow-
because it shows that there is still hope (light)
·
Red
hearts- because we all love one another
I
chose Forgiveness as the first Step- because I feel that without forgiveness
the world cannot get along.
My bible verse is; "Do unto others as you would have others do unto
you" found in- Matthew, chapter 7 verses 12.
I chose this verse because I strongly feel that if we do not abide by
it, it will make living together with one another extremely difficult.
I also feel that we could get along better without people thinking
that they are inferior to one another.
