Like many large North American cities, Calgary has an area  called "Chinatown". Dating back to 1885, Calgary's Chinese community is a proud merge of the past and the present. Walking through Calgary's Chinatown, you can't help but notice a blend of the past and the present. Many questions enter your mind. How did this unique community within a community come into being? Who were the key players, why does it still exist and what are the stories behind the curious storefronts found throughout this cultural monument in the center of the bustling city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada? Come along with us as we find out the answers to these and other questions...
